The XPR Network Consortium

In the decentralized world of blockchain, governance often presents a complex challenge. Traditional models of decision-making don’t always translate well into these new, distributed ecosystems. Enter the XPR Network Consortium — a transformative governance framework designed to guide and protect the health of the XPR Network.

The Consortium is made up of six key Block Producers, who collectively oversee and support the broader network of 40 active Block Producers. This council acts as the steering committee for the XPR Network, ensuring that all stakeholders are represented and that network operations remain fair, secure, and transparent.

The Consortium serves as an independent governance body, balancing decentralization with accountability. Its members work together to maintain network integrity, oversee grant distribution, manage governance processes, and guide the technical and business direction of the XPR Network.

Each member serves a two-year term — except for Metallicus, the core developer and permanent member — allowing for both continuity and fresh perspective. As XPR Network continues to grow, the Consortium’s role in guiding development, community initiatives, and institutional partnerships becomes ever more essential.

Metallicus is the core developer of XPR Network. The San Francisco based company oversees the entire development lifecycle of the XPR Network — including the decentralized exchange, swap protocol, OTC, streaming payments, liquidity pools, yield farming, and decentralized lending protocol — while also managing infrastructure, branding, and global marketing for the network.
Crypto Lions — Chain / Code

Crypto Lions help maintain the blockchain’s core codebase, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security. They contribute to technical upgrades and protocol improvements that keep the network running efficiently and securely.
