How to Install XPR Checkout on Your WooCommerce Store

Step 1: Download the Plugin

1. Visit the XPR Checkout plugin page on the WordPress Plugin Directory or download the ZIP file from the Official GitHub repository.

2. Save the ZIP file to your computer.

Step 2: Upload the Plugin to WordPress

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.

2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.

3. Click on the Upload Plugin button.

4. Choose the XPR Checkout ZIP file from your computer and click Install Now.

5. Once the installation is complete, click Activate Plugin.

Step 3: Initial Setup

After activating the plugin, navigate to the WooCommerce settings then Payments tab to configure XPR Checkout. Click manage on this screen.

Connect your account by pressing the WebAuth button there and authorizing the transaction. If you have not set up a WebAuth wallet yet you can register one here.

If your XPR Network account is not registered as a store yet you will need to click this purple button to Register your account name.

Once your store is registered you should update the dApp Name field with the name of your store and decide on the Allowed Tokens. This should be comma separated list (all uppercase) and only include main tokens and xtokens that are currently available on the Metal X Bridge.

You can see payment status on the Orders page on WooCommerce WordPress menu which shows Status, Network (Main/Test), Received Tokens and dollar value of the order.

Then inside the Order details page you can see the XPR Checkout payment widget that should show you transaction ID on the blockchain as well as the ability to refund a customer (in crypto)

What does payment flow look like?

During checkout, customer will see the XPR Checkout in Payment options.

When customer Place Order they will be taken to XPR Checkout Payments Page.

1) Customer Connects their WebAuth wallet.

2) Select the token to pay with (Remember that store owner can control this)

3) Select the token to pay with (Remember that store owner can control this)

4) Customer Signs the Transaction with WebAuth wallet either in the mobile device or web browser depending on how they connected.

And after a few seconds payment should be verified completed and customer can continue.
